Role overview
The employer is seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee to join its Electric Vehicle division as a Battery Technician.
The role provides training and hands-on exposure to EV battery operations and product development environments.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with assembly, testing, and installation of EV battery packs.
- Conduct performance testing, cell balancing, and diagnostics under supervision.
- Monitor charging and discharging cycles and record performance data.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance of battery systems.
- Work with R&D and production teams on battery technologies and safety testing.
- Follow SOPs and safety norms during battery handling.
- Maintain technical documentation and daily reports.
- Assist with troubleshooting and failure analysis of battery systems.
Qualifications
- B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Freshers or candidates with up to one year of experience are eligible.
- Basic understanding of EV systems, lithium-ion batteries, or battery management systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical measurements and safety practices.
