Responsibilities
- Assisting with field mapping and prospecting; traversing, data collection, rock sampling
- Assist with any core logging requirements; geotechnical logging of drill core, photography
- Assist environmental technicians with the collection of air and water monitoring samples
- Data entry and compilation activities
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a B.Sc or B.Eng program in earth sciences, geology, geological engineering, or civil engineering. Must be in good academic standing and returning to school.
- Professional, hardworking team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform physically demanding field work.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with ability to travel around southern NB and NS.
- No previous geology or engineering experience required.
- At least 2 years of undergraduate experience.
