Generator Field Supervisor

• Enforce compliance with all NFPA 70e, contract and Goldbelt Safety Program requirements and quality procedures.
• Ensure technicians follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, fall protection, and PPE procedures.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and periodic safety audits.
• Report and document all incidents, near misses, and hazards promptly.
• Participate in job hazard analyses (JHAs) and support continuous safety improvement initiatives.

• Strong comprehension of generator equipment and systems to include, but not limited to generators, automatic transfer switches, load banks, and fuel systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Ability to logically diagnosis system faults under pressure.
• Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Use of Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to provide on-call availability.

• Graduate of a state approved/accredited or military program that provides formal training in electrical generating and power transfer equipment AND have 7 years’ experience (to have been completed in the last 15 years) in generator design or renovation.
• An active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Must be able to travel overseas and work in various environments (hot, humid, or cold regions).
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual and technical labor safely, such as climbing ladders, working on rooftops and be able to lift and carry materials/tools in excess of 25lbs.
• Must be available for on-call duty as required.
• Be knowledgeable and able to comply with all company, site-specific, and safety regulations (ASHRAE, NFPA 70E, OSHA and others).
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Polite, service-oriented attitude with focus on client satisfaction.

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000.
