Role Overview
Hands-on Generative AI Engineer role supporting the Applied AI team of a UAE government department.
The role combines Generative AI and LLM expertise with full-stack software engineering and Microsoft Azure experience.
The position is based in Abu Dhabi and requires 100% onsite work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Generative AI applications, AI assistants, copilots, and agentic AI solutions.
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines, AI agents, embeddings, semantic search, and LLM integrations.
- Develop full-stack AI applications across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and AI orchestration layers.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, and databases.
- Deploy and manage AI applications using Azure, Docker, CI/CD, and modern cloud practices.
- Build scalable, secure, production-ready AI solutions with monitoring and evaluation.
- Prototype AI solutions and convert successful concepts into production applications.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to implement practical AI use cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI or LLM application development.
