PulseHire HR is delighted to offer a valuable opportunity for a General Surgery Specialist specializing in Operative Care to join a prestigious healthcare institution in Sharjah.
We are dedicated to connecting highly qualified medical professionals with leading healthcare providers, offering comprehensive support throughout the recruitment process, including assistance with documentation and registration.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of surgical procedures, providing perioperative care, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
We seek a skilled surgeon committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general surgical procedures including elective and emergency surgeries
- Manage preoperative assessments, plan surgical interventions, and provide postoperative care
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in patient management
- Monitor patient recovery, diagnose and manage surgical complications promptly
- Educate patients and their families about operative procedures, risks, and post-surgical care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records documenting surgical procedures and patient progress
- Continuously update knowledge of surgical techniques and best practices through ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in General Surgery from a recognized institution
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in General Surgery
- Valid medical license to practice in Sharjah or the UAE
- Solid experience in performing a range of general surgical procedures
- Strong understanding of perioperative management and patient care protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
- Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently
