Position Overview
The General Superintendent is responsible for the planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supervising of Superintendents for all project activities through all phases of construction. A General Superintendent is assigned based on complexity and risk of a project.
Essential Functions
Lead and enforce adherence to the contract, work plans, project safetyplan, project qualityplanand company initiatives.
Leadand coordinateall fieldemployees.
Accountabilityforand ownership ofthe safety,quality, andproductionperformance metrics for allprojectactivities.
Accountable for oversight ofprocurement of resources andequipmentfor the lifecycle of the project.
Responsible for the planningand coordination ofprojectactivities to ensureproper construction sequencing,schedule, and budget goals areadhered to.
Maintain excellent relationships withproject managementteam, owners, engineers, consultants,subcontractorsand the local community.
Oversee weekly labor reports, monthly equipment allocation reports, and monthly cost to complete reports.
Accountable for accuracy ofdailytimecards, quantity reports, and relevant project safety and quality documents.
Overseehiring,dismissal, and performance evaluationprocessesof crew members.
Coach,mentorand foster a culture of continuous improvementof all team members.
Review work plans andparticipatein planning meetings.
Accountable for thecleanliness and organizationofthe project.
Leadproject meetings andensure coordinationbetween crew members andproject management team.
Accountable forensuring plans, specifications,submittalsand RFIs are transmitted accurately andin a timely manner.
Coordinate with other project teams withincompanyto aid in staffing and equipment needs.
Oversee and enforce all processes and procedures that support theprojectclose-out phase.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum3yearof experience in renewable energyrequired.
- Minimum7yearof experience in a supervisory rolerequired.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) isrequired. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Outlook, and related software programs. Knowledge of Procore desired.
- Ability to work well in a group environment and foster a team approach.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Highly detail-oriented.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices preferred.
- Excellent verbal and writtencommunicationalskills. Must be fluent in English; both spoken and written.
- This role is for a skilled professional in renewable energy who is a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to excel in a dynamic environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Working Conditions
Up to 75% national travelrequired(typically 3 out of 4 weeks per month), subject to project locations and site timelines. Travel is scheduled Monday through Friday, ensuring you are home on the weekends.
Construction site environment – physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend,reachand climb. Exposed to high noise levels.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds continuously throughout the day.
Exposure to all forms of weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, dry, humid, windy) for the entire work day .

Location: Various U.S. Project Sites (Travel Required)
Full Time - Exempt Position
Position requires working hours in excess of 40 hours per week based on operational needs. A rotation schedule is implemented to help offset additional hours.
Salary Range is based on experience: $90K-$150K
