Role Overview
The General Practitioner is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah.
The role provides primary medical care for general medical and dermatological conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations, take medical histories, perform physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and manage treatment.
- Prescribe medications and coordinate treatment plans with dermatologists and other specialists.
- Ensure appropriate follow-up care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide preventive-care and skincare education to patients.
- Follow clinical governance, safety, and infection-control protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and the wider clinical team on integrated patient care.
Qualifications
- Strong medicine and primary-care foundation with experience managing broad general medical conditions.
- Family medicine background or exposure is valued for continuity of care.
- Ability to collaborate with nursing staff and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Training, mentoring, or patient-education experience is valued.
- Valid MBBS or equivalent degree and current UAE General Practitioner license or eligibility are required.
- Dermatology or aesthetic-medicine experience or strong interest is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive skills are required.
- Commitment to clinical quality, ethical practice, and continuous professional development is required.
