Role Overview
Provide safe, effective, and patient-centred medical care in accordance with applicable healthcare standards and regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations, medical assessments, and physical examinations.
- Take and document complete medical histories and assess presenting complaints.
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications when clinically indicated.
- Request and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic investigations, and imaging studies.
- Provide preventive healthcare, health education, counselling, and lifestyle advice.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when required.
- Identify medical emergencies and provide initial management and stabilization.
- Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when further investigation or specialized treatment is required.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient medical records.
- Follow clinical protocols, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.
- Provide follow-up care and communicate professionally with patients and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Valid DOH licence.
- Flexible split-shift availability.
- Two years of experience or consideration for fresh candidates.
