Job Purpose
The General Manager will drive company sales performance and oversee business operations, including inventory, procurement, and logistics.
The role leads the sales team, identifies business opportunities, and coordinates sales, operations, and logistics according to business plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including target setting and performance monitoring.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and distributors.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and dispatch.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely spare parts availability.
- Monitor stock levels and optimize inventory to reduce holding costs and avoid stockouts.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales and operations reports, forecasts, and budgets for leadership.
- Coordinate sales, operations, and logistics teams.
- Resolve order fulfillment, delivery, and client satisfaction escalations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
