Position Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results driven General Manager to lead the Marriott Jeddah Madinah Road property. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, exceptional operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the Middle Eastern hospitality market. The General Manager will be responsib

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy: Provide strategic direction and hands on leadership across all hotel operations; Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and team engagement; Act as the primary ambassador of the Marriott brand within the local market; Drive alignment with Marriott International standa
  • Operations Management: Oversee all departments including Rooms, F&B, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Finance; Ensure exceptional guest service delivery and consistently high guest satisfaction scores; Maintain compliance with local regulations, health & safety requirements.
  • Financial Performance: Develop and execute annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans; Drive revenue growth, GOP improvement, and cost management initiatives; Analyze market trends and competitor performance to maximize profitability.
  • Sales & Market Positioning: Lead commercial strategy in partnership with Sales & Marketing teams; Strengthen relationships with key corporate accounts, government entities, and travel partners; Identify new revenue streams and market opportunities.
  • People & Culture: Build, mentor, and retain a high performing leadership team; Promote talent development, succession planning, and Marriott culture; Ensure employee engagement and a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a General Manager in a branded hotel environment
  • Mandatory Middle East experience, with strong understanding of regional market dynamics
  • Proven track record in delivering financial results and operational excellence
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with Marriott systems and brand standards is highly preferred
