About the Role
Modern Dental Group is seeking a General Manager to establish and lead a dental laboratory in Abu Dhabi. The role involves strategic planning, business development, operational management, and team leadership within the dental industry.

Responsibilities
- Establish the production site and relevant support team
- Develop and implement the company's short term and long term strategic plans in alignment with organizational goals
- Provide strong leadership to the team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration
- Establish performance goals and regularly review progress, ensuring achievement of key metrics
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the MENA region
- Foster strategic partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders, including dental professionals, suppliers, and industry associations
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Oversee day to day operations of the dental lab, ensuring optimal efficiency, productivity, and quality standards
- Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance workflow
- Set up lab infrastructure, including selecting and implementing appropriate dental technologies and equipment
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective measures as necessary
- Build and lead a high performing team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, dental technology)
- Over 10 years proven track record of success in production, business development, and operational management within the dental industry
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English
- Exceptional business acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
- Solid understanding of dental lab operations, technologies, and industry trends
- Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and managing profitability
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
- Willing to be stationed in Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Master's degree preferred
- Fluency in Chinese is a plus
- Knowledge of Arabic or other languages spoken in the MENA region is a plus
