Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.

The General Ledger Accountant supports the general ledger accounting function for Redwood's global organization.

The role contributes to month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls, working closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Planning & Analysis.

It's a hands-on position within a fast-growing company, with exposure across the full accounting cycle rather than a single narrow function.

This is a strong fit for an accountant early in their career who wants breadth and real ownership of the work.

• Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial statement preparation
• Maintain the general ledger system, posting journal entries and ensuring the accuracy of account balances
• Prepare financial reports and analysis, including variance analysis and trend identification
• Process intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany balances to resolve discrepancies
• Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls over the general ledger process, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across the function
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits, responding to inquiries and requests as needed
• Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Planning & Analysis on cross-functional initiatives and accurate financial reporting
