1. Diagnosis and Clinical Examination
- Examine the mouth, teeth, and gums to diagnose issues such as cavities, gum infections, or tooth loss.
- Use X-rays to detect hidden problems.
2. Providing General Treatments
- Fill decayed or damaged teeth.
- Perform teeth cleaning and scaling.
- Extract teeth when necessary.
3. Preventive Care
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene.
- Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants, especially for children.
4. Basic and Moderate Restorations
- Fit crowns and bridges.
- Perform simple root canal treatments if not too complex.
5. Referring Complex Cases
- Refer patients to specialists (e.g., oral surgeons or orthodontists) when needed.
6. Medical Record Keeping
- Maintain detailed records of patients' medical history, treatment plans, and progress.
7. Infection Control Compliance
- Follow strict sterilization and infection control procedures.
- Use sterilized instruments and maintain hygiene at all times.
