General Accountant & HR

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare financial reports, bank reconciliations, and cash-flow reports.
• Handle UAE VAT records, calculations, and filing coordination.
• Support corporate tax compliance and reporting.
• Manage monthly payroll and WPS processing.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, leave, attendance, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Prepare HR letters, warnings, appraisals, and employee documentation.
• Maintain accounting records through Odoo or an ERP system.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government-related authorities.
• Monitor document expiries and compliance deadlines.
• Support management with financial, HR, and administrative reports.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and employee information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, UAE VAT, corporate tax, payroll, and WPS.
• Experience with Odoo or ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of UAE HR and employment procedures.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience in fashion, retail, manufacturing, or a similar business environment is preferred.

Pay

• Pay is AED 4,000–5,000 per month.

Work Location

• Work is performed in person.
