Role Overview
General Accountant role based in Sharjah, UAE.
The position manages daily accounting operations and maintains accurate financial records.

Employment and Workplace
- Employment type is full-time.
- Work location is in person in Sharjah, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment records, and supporting documents.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Monitor customer and supplier balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist with monthly closing and financial report preparation.
- Maintain accounting records and documentation.
- Coordinate with management, HR, and other departments on financial matters.
- Assist with payroll and WPS-related accounting activities.
- Support UAE VAT records, documentation, and filing requirements.
- Monitor company expenses and supporting documents.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
- The posting also states that 3 years of UAE experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and UAE VAT.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- UAE experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–AED 7,000 per month.
- Salary is also described as subject to discussion based on experience and qualifications.
Availability
