- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and on time
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform journal entries
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies
- Prepare and file tax returns and other statutory reports as required
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage

About the Role

What You'll Do

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies.

- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as an Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial management software is a plus.
