Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail oriented and versatile individual to join our team as an Accountant/Administrative Manager.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing purchasing and inventory, reconciling sales transactions, and handling various administrative tasks.
  • The candidate should be able to work in a very fast paced environment with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting activities including journal entry processing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain statutory filing and tax compliance.
  • Complete Bank statement and payment gateways reconciliation on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and annual budgets.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
  • Develop and implement processes and controls to enhance accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Prepare and analyse detailed financial reports P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements and provide valuable insights to management.
  • Follow up with customers/clients/vendors to close any outstanding positions in a timely manner.
  • Perform the quarterly VAT submission on UAE FTA portal.
  • Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and placing orders.
  • Maintain inventory records, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular audits.
  • Manage all sales transactions across verticals in the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in tax/accounting/finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or a similar role in the UAE.
  • F&B/Catering Experience is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge in Restaurants and Catering Businesses is a strong advantage.
  • High proficiency in Excel (Intermediate to advanced).
  • Proficiency in using accounting tools, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High Proficiency in English is a must, Arabic is a good advantage.
