BabyEats is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant/Administrative Manager to maintain financial records, manage purchasing and inventory, reconcile sales transactions, and handle administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
- Perform accounting activities including journal entry processing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and intercompany transactions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain statutory filing and tax compliance
- Complete Bank statement and payment gateways reconciliation on a weekly/monthly basis
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and annual budgets
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed
- Develop and implement processes and controls to enhance accuracy and completeness of financial information
- Prepare and analyse detailed financial reports P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements and provide insights to management
- Follow up with customers/clients/vendors to close any outstanding positions
- Perform the quarterly VAT submission on UAE FTA portal
- Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and placing orders
- Maintain inventory records, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular audits
- Manage all sales transactions across verticals in the company
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in tax/accounting/finance or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or a similar role in the UAE
- F&B/Catering Experience is a must
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements
- High proficiency in Excel (Intermediate to advanced)
- Proficiency in using accounting tools, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- High Proficiency in English is a must
