- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations for multiple retail locations
- Assist with month end and year end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Conduct general ledger account analysis and reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by collaborating with department heads
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting regulations and company policies
- Assist with audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accuracy of transactions
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards applicable in the UAE
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of VAT regulations in the UAE
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Position Overview
