Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
- Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements when required
- Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role
- Professional level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis, and reporting
- Previous experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, Tally, or similar ERP/accounting systems is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
