Position Summary

Maintain accurate financial and accounting records for the property.

Review financial entries, analyze computerized information, and maintain accounting spreadsheets.

Complete period-end closing and prepare financial reports.

Accounting Responsibilities

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
  • Organize and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to policies.
  • Classify, code, and summarize financial data using journals, ledgers, and computers.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.

Workplace Responsibilities

  • Follow company policies and procedures and protect confidential, guest, coworker, and company information.
  • Address guest service needs professionally and communicate clearly by telephone and email.
  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
  • Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required.
