General Accountant

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complete accounting activities for multiple retail shops.
• Maintain records of sales, expenses, cash, bank transactions, and other accounting activity.
• Prepare daily financial and operational reports for the Manager and Owner.
• Manage VAT records and timely VAT return submissions.
• Handle UAE Corporate Tax requirements, calculations, documentation, and returns.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with shop staff regarding sales, cash, expenses, and financial matters.
• Prepare reports and provide financial information as requested.
• Perform other accounting-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• VAT and UAE Corporate Tax compliance and submission experience are required.
• Experience with multiple retail shops or branches is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE tax regulations.
• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• UAE experience is mandatory.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,500–AED 4,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person.
