Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions, including AP, AR, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers and accounting records.
- Prepare bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor receivables and payables and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist with payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports and management summaries as required.
- Support VAT calculations, filings, and other UAE tax and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT.
- Experience with accounting or ERP software.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE accounting experience.
- Experience in trading, logistics, terminals, manufacturing, or a multi-entity environment.
- ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA, or CFA qualification is stated as required in the source.
Work Location
- The role is performed in person.
Pay
- AED 4,500–7,000 per month.
