About the Role
Blueberry Event Management / Ekat Trading seeks a General Accountant in Abu Dhabi to maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks, perform reconciliations, and assist with VAT and tax compliance.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up to date accounting records in QuickBooks
- Record and post all sales invoices, purchase invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments
- Perform daily bookkeeping and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, customer accounts, and general ledger balances
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, including follow up on outstanding balances
- Prepare monthly supplier and customer reconciliation reports
- Assist in month end and year end closing activities
- Prepare VAT workings and support timely VAT return filing
- Assist with Corporate Tax compliance, tax computations, and supporting schedules
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, contracts, and accounting documents
- Prepare management reports on receivables, payables, cash flow, and outstanding balances
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
- Experience with bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

Compensation
- Pay: AED 4,000.00 AED 6,000.00 per month.
