The company supports client transactions through knowledge of UAE laws, labor requirements, and emigration codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and review daily transactions and allocate them to general ledger accounts.
- Perform bank, GL, supplier, customer, and other reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
- Handle invoice posting, payment applications, billing, collections, and supporting documents.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, account analyses, dashboards, and management reports.
- Maintain organized accounting records and complete month-end accounting activities.
- Support internal controls, accounting policy compliance, audits, and applicable accounting standards.
- Coordinate with departments and recommend solutions or process improvements for accounting issues.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- At least two years of relevant accounting experience is required.
- Strong general ledger, reconciliation, accounting principles, and internal controls knowledge is required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, reconciliations, and financial reporting, are required.
- ERP or accounting systems experience is required; Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar experience is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and deadline-management skills are required.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and independent working ability are required.
