Job Purpose
Maintain accurate financial records, process accounting transactions, support accounts receivable and payable, and assist with monthly and annual financial reporting.
Ensure accounting activities are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Accounting Operations
- Maintain accounting records and ledgers and record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Manage receivables, follow up on overdue balances, and prepare customer statements.
- Manage payables, verify supplier invoices, and prepare payment documentation.
- Reconcile bank, customer, supplier, and general ledger balances.
- Assist with monthly reports, schedules, management reports, cash flow information, and period-end closing.
- Maintain supporting documentation and file invoices, receipts, and payment records.
- Monitor expenses and ensure they are properly recorded and supported.
Tax, Audit, and Compliance
- Assist with VAT calculations, reconciliations, and VAT return preparation with the Finance Manager.
- Assist auditors by providing documents, schedules, and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable UAE regulations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as an MBA or M.COM.
- Two to four years of relevant accounting experience.
- UAE accounting experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- English language proficiency is required.

Accurate monthly financial reporting and timely month-end closing.
Compliance with accounting procedures and UAE VAT requirements.
Proper maintenance of financial records and supporting documents.
