The Gen-X Program is designed to transform high-potential Ph.D./MBA talent into the leaders of tomorrow with a cross-functional mindset, strategic business acumen, and innovation-driven leadership.
Gen-X serves as a career differentiator, providing the training, expertise, experience, and mentorship required to assume a leadership role at GenScript. Gen-X is a transformative 18–24-month leadership program designed for the following types of exceptional talents:
Distinguished Scientist of Protein: PhD with breakthrough inventions (patents) or top-tier publications in protein, nucleic acid, peptide or related biomolecular research, who aspire to lead R&D teams and develop next-gen biotech products.
AI for Science: PhD with interdisciplinary expertise in AI, computational biology and life sciences, focusing on AI-driven biotech innovation and R&D breakthroughs.
Commercial Leaders: MBA/PhD talents with life science expertise, ready to bridge technology and business for global impact.
CFO Office Advisor: MBA talents with 3-7 years working experience, solid foundational skills in finance, outstanding accomplishments, and strong achievement motivation to become a future finance leader.
Supply Chain: Fresh master’s graduates with a biology background at bachelor’s or master’s level; cross-disciplinary background is highly preferred at least 1 year of operations-related experience (e.g., internships, project practice, etc.)
Strong self-motivation and intellectual curiosity, with proven experience of proactive exploration (e.g., dual degrees, cross-boundary expansion projects).

Who are we looking for?
1.Applicant graduated in 2025 or be expected to graduate in 2026 with a Ph.D. degree in life science, with outstanding publications in top journals (Nature, Cell, Science) or patented biotech inventions.
2.Demonstrated ability to solve complex challenges, with solid research or professional experience in protein, nucleic acid, peptide, computational biology, AI for Science, or related biotechnology fields.
3.Strong willingness to grow and excel in cross-functional roles.
4.Strategic mindset with exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
5.Ability to thrive in a highly complex, global working environment, take the initiative to prioritize effectively and exceed goals.
