Role Overview

Architectural Design and Delivery

• Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of enterprise DevOps solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Architect resilient, highly available, and secure infrastructure blueprints for high-transaction corporate environments.
• Provide technical consulting for complex legacy migration and modernization initiatives.

Infrastructure as Code and Automation

• Use Terraform as the primary infrastructure-as-code standard for environmental consistency.
• Build reusable Terraform registries for multi-region VPCs, IAM hierarchies, and compute environments.
• Implement automated drift detection and production state-file management practices.

CI/CD and Containers

• Design and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
• Standardize repository workflows, branching strategies, and SAST/DAST quality and security gates.
• Deploy containerized workloads using GKE, Cloud Run, and Artifact Registry.

Reliability and Collaboration

• Collaborate with enterprise security, cloud architecture, and software engineering teams on DevSecOps practices.
• Design monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks using GCP services, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering, infrastructure automation, or cloud solution architecture.
• Experience contributing as a technical lead or key contributor on large-scale corporate migrations or transformations.
• Advanced Terraform, GitLab, and GitHub workflow experience.
• Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, service mesh topologies, enterprise networking, and DevSecOps controls.
• Valid Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Go, or advanced Bash scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with GCP database migration practices involving Cloud SQL, Spanner, or Bigtable.
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or government.
