GCCS Systems Administrator I

Design, write, modify and implement software programs/applications;

Develop “glue-ware” to support operational client applications and security patches;

Provide Tier 2 technical support;

Install, configure, operate, manage, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, inspect and maintain server systems (physical and virtual), including administration of core and functional services;

Manage and administer user accounts, profiles and access;

Monitoring user access and adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure a secure operating environment;

Monitor workstation and server logs for errors and failures and perform appropriate troubleshooting and maintenance;

Provide technical assistance for assigned projects;

Provide desktop, server and software application integration support;

Operate and maintain monitoring and analysis tools; and detect, analyze and resolve platform, infrastructure and system problems;

Other Duties as Required.

Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance with eligibility.

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.

G ENERAL EXPERIENCE:

2+ years performing administrative maintenance on GCCS servers operating at an AOC, SPO, or an AFCENT reviewed and CO approved equivalent organization;

DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher; and Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), or Linux+, or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA), or equivalent certification.

High School Diploma or GED.
