Job Summary
Caterpillar is seeking a GBS Finance Transition Program Coordinator for its Finance PMO team.
The role supports the transfer of financial processes from global Caterpillar locations to a Caterpillar GBS location.
The coordinator supports Transition Project Managers in delivering programs on time, within budget, and to specification.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Support transition planning, knowledge transfer, ramp-up, service readiness testing, and stabilization.
- Create complex project plans and schedules using MS Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Coordinate governance, solution, knowledge transfer, milestone, and stakeholder meetings.
- Maintain issues, actions, risks, FMEAs, scope changes, work plans, and meeting minutes.
- Analyze schedule updates, resolve logic errors, and recommend actions to address schedule problems.
- Provide planning and follow-up support for program teams, steering committees, and governance reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college or university degree.
- Three to five years of progressive GBS transition project management experience.
- Experience creating detailed MS Project work plans with duration-based activities, resource forecasts, and scope.
