Internship Overview
- We're looking for a Garment Technology and Production Intern to join Abadia for 2 months, to support the technical development of our upcoming collections.
- This is the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or student to gain hands on experience in a luxury atelier with the prospect of a full time position on successful completion of the internship.
- You'll work closely with the Design and Production teams to transform ideas from sketches into ready to produce product.
What You'll Do
- Assist in creating measurement sheets and bulk specifications
- Measuring and organizing samples throughout collection development
- Support during fittings, taking notes, measurements and suggesting construction solutions
- Liaising with internal team and external suppliers to ensure edits are managed successfully
- Sourcing and ordering fabrics and trims
What We're Looking For
- A recent fashion graduate who is looking to expand their technical knowledge of garment construction and production
- Proficiency in Excel Adobe Illustrator skills are a bonus
- A good understanding of garment construction, fabrics and finishings
- Highly organized and proactive
