About the Role
E&I Technical Experts (Al Abbas Group) is seeking a dedicated Gardener to maintain landscaped areas across client facilities in the UAE. You will perform landscape maintenance, plant care, irrigation support, and grounds upkeep.

Responsibilities
- Water, prune, trim, and maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, hedges, flower beds, and ornamental plants
- Plant seasonal flowers, trees, shrubs, and other landscaping elements according to approved plans
- Mow lawns, edge grass, remove weeds, rake leaves, and maintain clean outdoor spaces
- Monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, weeds, or nutrient deficiencies
- Apply fertilizers, soil conditioners, pesticides, herbicides, and other treatments as per procedures
- Inspect, operate, and perform basic maintenance on irrigation systems, sprinklers, valves, and drip irrigation equipment
- Safely operate and maintain gardening equipment including lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, leaf blowers
- Follow company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and wear appropriate PPE
Requirements
- High School Certificate or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance
- Basic knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, plant care, landscaping practices, fertilizers, and pest control
- Ability to safely operate gardening machinery and landscaping equipment
- Good understanding of lawn care, pruning techniques, planting methods, and landscape maintenance
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while following supervisor instructions

Role Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Gardener to maintain and enhance the appearance of landscaped areas across client facilities in the UAE.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine landscape maintenance, irrigation support, plant care, and grounds upkeep.
- The ideal candidate will possess practical experience in horticulture and landscape maintenance, demonstrate attention to detail, and be committed to delivering high quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Landscape Maintenance: Water, prune, trim, and maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, hedges, flower beds, and ornamental plants.
- Plant seasonal flowers, trees, shrubs, and other landscaping elements according to approved landscaping plans.
- Mow lawns, edge grass, remove weeds, rake leaves, and maintain clean and attractive outdoor spaces.
- Remove dead plants, branches, and debris while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Plant Health & Horticulture: Monitor the health of plants, trees, and lawns by identifying pests, diseases, weeds, or nutrient deficiencies.
- Apply fertilizers, soil conditioners, pesticides, herbicides, and other treatments in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure proper watering schedules based on seasonal and environmental requirements.
- Irrigation Systems: Inspect, operate, and perform basic maintenance on irrigation systems, sprinklers, valves, and drip irrigation equipment.
- Identify and report irrigation leaks, damaged pipes, faulty sprinklers, or water distribution issues.
- Monitor irrigation performance to ensure efficient water usage.
- Equipment & Grounds Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain gardening equipment including lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, leaf blowers, and other landscaping tools.
- Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of gardening tools and equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
- High School Certificate or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance.
- Experience maintaining commercial, residential, hospitality, or facility management properties is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, plant care, landscaping practices, fertilizers, and pest control.
- Ability to safely operate gardening machinery and landscaping equipment.
- Good understanding of lawn care, pruning techniques, planting methods, and landscape maintenance.
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while following supervisor instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within Facility Management companies in the UAE or GCC.
- Knowledge of irrigation troubleshooting and water conservation practices.
- Familiarity with ornamental plants, native landscaping species, and seasonal planting.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety standards and environmental best practices.
- UAE/GCC experience in maintaining commercial buildings, residential communities, hotels, or public landscapes.
