Garage and Workshop Responsibilities
- Ensure day-to-day garage operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Create and manage daily job cards for maintenance, breakdown, and accident work.
- Supervise foremen, mechanics, and other garage staff.
- Coordinate suppliers and purchase materials, tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Maintain records and reports of all work performed in the garage.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols.
- Provide technical support, delegate tasks, and support work in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree or Diploma/ITI in automobile engineering or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience as a garage manager or foreman in the UAE or GCC is required.
- Experience with heavy trucks including Mercedes, MAN, Volvo, and Shacman is required.
Required and Preferred Skills
- English is required.
- Arabic or Hindi is advantageous.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, vehicle parts, computer systems, and software is required.
Compensation
- Salary will be discussed at the time of interview.
