Position Summary

The Games Room Attendant supports guest recreation activities and promotes a fun, relaxing, and safe facility environment.

The role is full-time, non-management, and based at W Hotels in Dubai.

Guest Recreation and Safety

  • Encourage, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
  • Provide information about facilities, activities, rules, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor recreation activities and respond to emergencies according to operating procedures.
  • Identify unsafe participation situations and notify a supervisor or manager.
  • Clean and maintain recreation equipment and supplies.

Guest Service and Operations

  • Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
  • Process payments for rentals, recreation activities, facility rentals, and retail sales.
  • Use computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions and follow company policies.

Qualifications

  • CPR certification is required.
  • First Aid certification is required.
  • Recreation equipment training is required.
  • Certification or training required by local and state agencies is required.
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • No related or supervisory experience is required.

Physical Requirements

  • The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or an entire shift.
  • The role requires moving through narrow, confined, elevated, uneven, or slippery areas and using stairs or ramps.
  • The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds independently and heavier objects with assistance.
