Position Summary

Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities.

Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere while providing information about available recreation facilities and activities.

Guest Safety and Recreation Operations

  • Promote recreation facility rules and regulations for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
  • Observe activity and respond according to local operating procedures during emergencies.
  • Identify situations where guests may not safely participate and inform a supervisor or manager.
  • Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.

Guest Service and Payments

  • Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide genuine appreciation.
  • Speak clearly and professionally, answer telephones appropriately, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Process payments for equipment rentals, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
  • Use computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.

Safety and Physical Requirements

  • Complete safety training and certifications and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds independently and heavier objects with assistance.
  • Move through confined or elevated spaces and across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, including stairs and service ramps.
  • Perform reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and fine motor movements.

Standards and Conduct

  • Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and protect confidential information and company assets.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
