Furnace Operator - ATL

• Knowledge of basic math, reading, and writing.
• High School Diploma preferred .
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic oral, listening, and written communication skills required.
• Forklift experience required.

• Possess good physical stamina and coordination. Specific physical requirements of the position include the ability to continuously and repetitively: Walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. Read standardized work instructions, operate machines and tools, and perform quality inspections. Promptly detect and respond to visual and auditory safety instructions, alarms, and signals. Wear personal protective equipment, for example: safety glasses, gloves, hard hat with face shield, ear plugs, long-sleeves, aluminized jackets, spats, gloves, and mid-calf steel-toed safety shoes. Work in a loud manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled (conditions can be hot or cold). Bend, twist, push, pull, and reach to perform work. Use hand positioning to grip/grasp parts, devices, measuring tools and other equipment. Ability to see clearly at close and distance ranges, distinguish colors, maintain peripheral vision, perceive depth, and adjust focus as necessary.
