Elevate your career in a role where your "clients" are the legal experts shaping the industry. As a Funding Specialist, you’ll be the primary point of contact for notaries and lawyers across Canada, proactively navigating the complexities of the funding process to ensure every purchase closes on its scheduled date.
Prepare and send instructional packages to solicitors, along with supporting documentation, and remain a point of contact until the file is complete and funded
Ensure the “Know Your Client” legislation is adhered to on all files
Work directly with the solicitor to obtain any outstanding documentation
Review and adhere to company funding procedures and legal guidelines to ensure that all information is accurate and complete prior to releasing mortgage funds

Have detailed knowledge of the residential mortgage industry, conditions management and regulatory compliance
