Fund Accountant

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure work complies with fund terms, regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering regulations, and company procedures.
• Prepare reports on time and act as the accounting contact for company clients.
• Review offshore team work, submit NAV to clients under agreed SLAs, and provide transfer agency backup.
• Assist senior staff and work independently or collaboratively as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience preferably as a fund accountant or equivalent.
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Excel macros.
• Experience across fund administration, NAV, pricing, corporate actions, performance fees, shareholder services, AML, and KYC verification.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, solve complex problems, and work under pressure.
• Proficient written and spoken English and Arabic.

• Strong educational background, preferably in accounting.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proactive approach, flexibility, and ability to drive work forward.
• Ability to work independently and collectively in a team.
