SIS Silverstone, a Keystone affiliate partner, is a leading provider of functional safety consulting services to the refining, petrochemical, chemical, and energy industries.

We are seeking a motivated Functional Safety Associate to join our growing team.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to develop expertise in ISA/IEC 61511 functional safety, process hazard analysis, and safety instrumented systems while working alongside experienced consultants.

Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits

• Participate and/or scribe in Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) / Layer Of Protection Analysis (LOPA)
• Support senior engineers in the evaluation of hazard analysis recommendations and the development of safety instrumented system (SIS) designs.
• Assist in the development of deliverables within all phases of the Safety Life-Cycle, including Safety Requirements Specification (SRS), SIL Verification Calculations, Proof Test Procedures, etc.
