SAS develops software and services that help organizations transform data into intelligence and questions into answers.
The role supports development of database-centric applications and mid-tier services.
Core requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant software development experience is required.
- Strong Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate programming skills are required.
- Experience with mid-tier services, REST APIs, database-centric applications, SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle is required.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles is required.
- Experience with unit, regression, and integration testing is required.
Additional qualifications
- Experience with Agile software development, debugging, logical problem solving, and learning new technologies is required.
- The role involves working with large legacy codebases and enterprise security applications such as IVIA/WebSeal, SiteMinder, and IWA.
- Groovy, security tools such as Snyk or Black Duck, and AI development tools are advantageous.
Role responsibilities
- Develop mid-tier services and database-centric applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
