About the Role
SCM Insurance Services seeks a Property Claims Examiner/Desktop Adjuster to manage property claims from start to finish using a desktop model. You will settle claims, direct field adjusters, and liaise with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Settle claims directly with Insureds or their representatives
- Produce reports with occasional guidance from Manager
- Direct Field Adjusters on task assignment investigations
- Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts
- Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure clients’ needs are met
- Report back to the syndicate or self insured according to their guidelines
Requirements
- 1 2 years' experience delivering relevant claims adjusting and/or examining work
- Ability to hold an independent adjusting license
- Completed CIP courses, or working towards CIP designation (asset)
- Relevant post secondary education (asset)

Qualifications & Experience
- Your education, with relevant post secondary education being an asset
- Your completed CIP courses, or working towards CIP designation

- Your 1 2 years' experience delivering relevant claims adjusting and/or examining work
- Exposure to the Lloyd's market would be an asset
- Your experience positively contributing to a high performing team
- Examples of your strong aptitude and ability to work with technology
- Your attention to detail and your ability to communicate professionally
