Position Summary

  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Faculty & Pearson Quality Nominee (Full time) to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and direct experience with the Pearson BTEC curriculum.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management/Business or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience

Required Experience and Skills

  • Hands on experience with the Pearson BTEC curriculum
  • Strong understanding of academic policies and procedures related to Pearson qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective classroom management and student mentoring abilities

Key Responsibilities Business Faculty

  • Deliver Business programmes in accordance with the approved curriculum and Pearson standards.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments and learning resources.
  • Conduct lectures, tutorials and learner support sessions.
  • Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Monitor learner attendance, academic progress, and performance.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
  • Participate in academic meetings, staff development and quality enhancement activities.

Key Responsibilities Pearson Quality Nominee

  • Act as the primary liaison between the institution and Pearson.
  • Ensure the centre complies with Pearson's quality assurance policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal verification, standardisation meetings and assessment quality processes.
  • Maintain accurate academic and quality assurance documentation.
  • Support Pearson quality reviews, audits and External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits.
  • Work closely with academic staff to ensure consistent delivery, assessment and continuous quality improvement.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous teaching experience in higher education.
  • Experience working with Pearson BTEC qualifications and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong knowledge of academic quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
