Role Overview
Support and enhance existing internal web applications while contributing to new tools for Air Force operations in San Antonio, Texas.
The role focuses on practical solutions, continuous improvement, and tools that improve productivity for internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve React.js and TypeScript internal web applications.
- Develop operational features and workflow tools.
- Build backend APIs with Flask, Python, and NestJS.
- Implement responsive and accessible interfaces with HTML5 and CSS3.
- Use PostgreSQL and Redis to support application performance.
- Conduct code reviews, documentation, troubleshooting, and technical debt reduction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of professional web development experience.
- React.js with TypeScript, Flask with Python, and NestJS with TypeScript experience.
- Proficiency in Python, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- PostgreSQL design, optimization, and querying experience.
- Redis caching experience and Git collaborative workflow experience.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
