Contribute features across the stack Pick up real product work on the Artemis AI problem-solving engine and Artemis data platform. Ship features across the frontend (Next.js) and backend (Python, REST APIs) under the guidance of senior engineers.
Write and run your own tests Build the habit of testing your own code from day one. Quality is not a separate phase; it is part of how we ship.
Participate in code reviews Give and receive feedback in pull requests. Learn how senior engineers think about design, readability, and tradeoffs by reviewing their work and having yours reviewed.

More from this employer
Work in an Agile cadence Sprint planning, daily standups, and iterative delivery. You will own work end-to-end inside a sprint and be expected to communicate progress and blockers clearly.
Use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully Use Claude Code, Copilot, and similar tools to accelerate your work. Learn when to trust the output, when to verify, and when to throw it out.
Document what you build Write clearly enough that a teammate can pick up your work without a meeting. Good documentation is part of the deliverable, not an afterthought.
Pursuing or recently completed a CS-adjacent degree Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. We care about what you can build, not just where you studied.
Working knowledge of a backend language and the web fundamentals Python preferred on the backend. Comfort with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on the frontend. You don't need to be an expert; you do need to be able to read and write real code.
Comfortable with Git You have used version control on real projects. Branches, commits, pull requests, and merge conflicts are familiar territory.
Hands-on with agentic coding tools You have used Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools and have opinions about them. You see them as a way to punch above your weight.
Demonstrated exceptional ability Academically, professionally, or through extracurriculars. You have shipped, won, built, or led something that stands out.
Curious and self-directed You have a bias toward figuring things out before asking for help. You ask sharp questions when you do.
Clear communicator in a remote-first environment You can write a clear update, leave a useful PR comment, and run a focused video call. Your team should never have to guess what you're working on.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Coursework or projects involving data pipelines, machine learning, APIs, or MCPs.
Familiarity with testing frameworks in any language.
Real product work on the Artemis AI engine and Artemis data platform, not a rotation program or busywork.
Direct mentorship from senior engineers and exposure to the founding team.
Technically interesting problems: AI agents, supply chain signal processing, and regulated data pipelines.
A small, high-output team where your contributions are visible and your growth is fast.
Heavy investment in AI tooling. If a tool makes you faster, we buy it.
Send a short note explaining what you've built recently, a project or course that shaped you, and why this role fits you now. Links to GitHub, projects, or writeups are welcome alongside your resume.
