Key skills for this role
JETNET is looking for a Full-Stack .NET Developer who wants more than a backlog of tickets.
You’ll help design and build the applications and services behind one of the aviation industry’s most trusted intelligence platforms. You’ll work across the stack, solve real business and technical problems, and have meaningful ownership from understanding a problem through architecture, development, testing, deployment, and support.
We’re also embracing the way software development is changing. AI-assisted development is part of how we work, and we’re looking for an engineer who knows how to use tools like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar platforms to accelerate development without outsourcing their judgment to AI. You’ll be expected to challenge the output, understand the code, improve it, and stand behind what you ship.
If you’re curious, self-directed, comfortable figuring things out, and interested in continuously improving both what you build and how you build it, we’d like to meet you.
Design, develop, deploy, and support full-stack applications and AWS-based services that power JETNET’s core business operations.
Work across the full development lifecycle—from understanding requirements and defining the problem to evaluating solutions and shipping production-ready software.
Build clean, maintainable, high-quality code using modern engineering practices and established architectural standards.
Use AI coding assistants as part of your development workflow to scope work, explore solutions, accelerate implementation, and iterate toward production-quality results.
Investigate complex software issues, get to the root cause, and develop practical solutions rather than temporary fixes.
Work with asynchronous programming, event-driven communication, and background processing pipelines.
Skip the repetitive application forms

Create useful technical documentation and system diagrams that make complex systems easier for others to understand and maintain.
Collaborate directly with Engineering, Product, IT, Research, partner development teams, and business stakeholders.
Continuously explore new technologies, libraries, development approaches, and AI capabilities that can make our products—and our engineering team—better.
Support releases outside regular business hours when needed to keep our systems stable and available.
We’re less interested in someone who can simply check every technology box and more interested in an engineer who can think critically, learn quickly, take ownership, and solve problems .
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of professional development experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
2+ years of experience building modern web applications using Blazor WASM, React, Angular, or similar SPA frameworks.
Hands-on experience incorporating AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar tools into your day-to-day development workflow.
The engineering judgment to know when AI can accelerate a solution—and when you need to put it aside and solve the problem yourself.
A strong habit of reviewing, validating, debugging, and refactoring AI-generated code rather than accepting output at face value.
Experience with SQL databases and ORM frameworks such as EF Core.
A strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture.
Experience with asynchronous programming, event-driven communication, and background processing pipelines.
A mindset of ownership: if you commit it, you understand it, can explain it, and stand behind it.
A passion for aviation - or an interest in developing one.
You don’t need everything on this list, but we’d be especially interested if you’ve worked with:
Multi-agent orchestrations and LLM-based agent frameworks.
Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, or Event Sourcing.
AWS.
Docker and Kubernetes.
Python.
For more than 35 years, JETNET has helped the aviation industry make better decisions through trusted data and intelligence. Today, we’re combining decades of aviation expertise and proprietary data with modern cloud technology, machine learning, and AI to rethink what aviation intelligence can do.
For a software developer, that means the opportunity to work on technology with a real purpose, solve interesting problems involving complex data, and have an impact that extends well beyond the code you write.
You’ll join a team where we value autonomy, collaboration, curiosity, and people who are willing to learn beyond the boundaries of their job description. We want engineers who ask why, challenge assumptions, experiment with better approaches, and take responsibility for getting to the right outcome.
