Role overview
Citi is hiring a Head of Application Development at the Senior Vice President level.
The role leads enterprise-scale CRM and financial platform engineering within the Institutional Services Group.
The position combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering for high-availability systems serving global institutional clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development of enterprise CRM and financial applications with 24/5 availability.
- Design Java, Spring Boot, REST, microservices, and cloud-ready solutions.
- Own application stability, quality, functionality, and production service-level expectations.
- Automate release pipelines for zero-downtime deployments.
- Act as technical liaison among business users, technology teams, and external vendors.
- Mentor and coach a cross-functional engineering team of 20 or more.
- Assess technology and business risks against policies, regulations, and client-asset safeguards.
Required qualifications and skills
- 10+ years developing and managing enterprise CRM applications, including 10 years in high-availability financial-system architecture.
