Full Stack Engineer - (Ruby on Rails/React)

We’re building a data-intensive platform that ingests information from a wide range of external sources, enriches and routes it, and serves rich visualization and analytics on top.

We’re looking for a senior engineer who’s comfortable moving across the stack - backend services, data analytics, cloud infrastructure, and a modern web frontend - and who cares as much about how we make decisions as the code we ship.

We’re looking for a senior engineer who’s comfortable moving across the stack - backend services, data analytics, cloud infrastructure, and a modern web frontend - and who cares as much about how we make decisions as the code we ship.

• Build and maintain Ruby on Rails applications with PostgreSQL, including progressive web applications optimized for mobile, desktop, and offline use.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, database schemas, and data models for mission-critical defense and logistics systems.
• Build and maintain durable, multi-source data ingestion pipelines that transform, deduplicate, and route data across relational, graph, and analytical stores.
• Develop interactive web applications that enable users to visualize, query, and work with complex operational data.
• Design data access patterns that leverage the strengths of relational, graph, and analytical databases.
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes using containerization, reproducible builds, and secure software supply-chain practices.
• Build end-to-end observability across applications and infrastructure, including traces, metrics, logs, and operational dashboards.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security, and compliance best practices, including integrations with DoD systems and secure data pipelines.
• Optimize application and data performance for scalability, reliability, and disconnected or low-connectivity environments.
• Partner with product and design teams to translate mission and user requirements into technical solutions that support military readiness and logistics operations.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews while maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and maintainability.
• 5-10 years of experience in full stack development
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, Django, and Docker.
