Role Description

  • This is a full time, on site role based in Doha, Qatar, for a Full Stack Engineer (Logistics).
  • The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications that power logistics workflows, from user facing interfaces to back end services and APIs.
  • Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, enhancing system performance, integrating third party services, and resolving technical issues related to freight execution and shipment visibility.
  • The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and operations specialists to translate logistics requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • The engineer will participate in code reviews, write automated tests, document technical decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process and system architecture.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Full Stack Development and Software Development, including experience designing, building, and deploying production grade web applications.
  • Strong Back End Web Development skills, such as building RESTful APIs, working with databases, and implementing scalable, secure server side logic.
  • Front End Development expertise, including modern JavaScript frameworks and responsive UI implementation using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
  • Experience working in agile development environments, with solid version control (e.g., Git) and code review practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross functional, on site team and communicate clearly with technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or transportation systems, as is experience with cloud platforms and containerization.
