Role Overview
Hoxton Wealth is a global financial services firm using technology and tax-led financial planning to deliver wealth management services.
The engineer will build and evolve core fintech applications across frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers.
The role requires independent end-to-end delivery of complex features and influence on technical direction in a regulated environment.
Experience and Required Skills
- The role requires 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of production features and full-stack delivery.
- Strong backend experience in PHP/Laravel and/or Node.js is required.
- Solid frontend experience with a modern JavaScript framework and strong REST API and relational database fundamentals are required.
- Experience integrating third-party systems, building secure scalable services, using AWS, and working with CI/CD tooling is required.
- Awareness of fintech security, reliability, and compliance expectations is required.
Full-Stack Delivery
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend, backend services, APIs, and databases.
- Develop backend services primarily with PHP/Laravel and Node.js; Python/FastAPI exposure is a bonus.
