Full Stack Desk Developer role for a global energy trading company based in Dubai.
The developer will work as part of the Cross Commodity Trading Desk in a quantitative and full stack capacity.
The role requires practical commodity trading experience and close communication with traders and analysts.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Python development experience.
- Commercial front-end development experience with JavaScript, preferably React.js.
- Experience working within a trading environment, with energy or commodities preferred.
- Functional understanding of trade flows.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with traders and demanding front-office users.
- Good understanding of energy market data.
Responsibilities
- Develop full stack solutions as part of the cross-commodity trading desk.
- Work closely with traders in a quantitative and full stack development capacity.
- Communicate development ideas and solutions to traders and analysts.
- Support front-office users in a demanding trading environment.
