Full-Stack Developer

Index is an Artificial Intelligence company specializing in Web Marketing.

Its flagship product, Alya.ai , leverages state-of-the-art AI technologies to help companies manage whole marketing portfolios with ease.

As part of its expansion, Index is looking for a new full time Software Engineer to be part of its Montreal team.

• Working closely with product owners, full-stack developers and designers of various teams;
• Assure quality control (clean code culture);
• Translate software requirements into code;
• Project leadership: Engaging with different departments to help design the best software solution for the challenges faced;
• Contribute to the company’s research and development activities;

Our website uses ReactJS while a NodeJS server using Hasura is in action.

All the parts are containerized and deployed using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

We automate everything with continuous integration and continuous deployment to deliver changes as fast as possible and in a reliable way.

To keep our code quality the best possible, something essential to us, we use GitFlow with cautious merge reviews.

In addition, we are working on a second website with a different technology stack.

The frontend combines ReactJS and PHP, leveraging the flexibility of both.

For the backend, we rely on a PHP server running on WP-Engine, connected to a SQL database via the PODS framework.
